Classes at Bluebird Yarn: At Bluebird Yarn we strive to offer excellent instruction on knitting and crochet. We hope you find our classes to be supportive and create more independent knitters and crocheters. Please call ahead to reserve your spot in a class as early as possible. If a class does not fill, we may cancel it 48 hours prior to the first class. Yarn should be purchased from Bluebird for group classes. Private classes are available at the rate of $35/hour. Knit and Crochet Night:

We have a bi-monthly social knit/crochet nights on the first and third Thursday at each month.  Mirto Golino will head up the first Thursday and offer help in all your crochet projects.  Sophie will host the third Thursday and help out with your knitting, crochet and yarn needs!  KNITTERS AND CROCHETERS ARE WELCOME TO BOTH!

Chiaki’s Knitting Circle:  A class where you learn what you want and then some!

We started the Knitting Circle Class this fall and it has been such a huge success that we’ve added another day.  In this class you can learn the skills you need for the projects that you want.  Whether it is knitting a first hat or sweater to having support on a complicated pattern, you’ll get the personalized instruction you need.  Plus you’ll learn skills by watching what your classmates are working on.  Classes are limited to 4 students.  A makeup class is included in each series.  Call for your space on one of three days...Thursdays 10am-12pm, Thursdays 2pm-4pm and Saturdays from 10am-12pm.  415-331-9276

Beginning Basics

    For beginners who are ready to make their first stitches, we recommend you take advantage of our private starter package. This offer includes a private one hour class, a half hour follow up session, and a 10% discount on your knitting supplies at your first class. You can schedule both of these to suit your availability. 

    Class fee is $50.  Have a friend that wants to learn too? Have them join your private classes for $20 more and split the tuition.  Call 415-331-9276 to schedule your class.

We are celebrating Bluebird Yarn being Vogue’s Inspirational Store in the most recent issue (Crochet Collector’s Edition).  This month we are offering 3 free crochet classes.  We will teach you the basics to get you “hooked” on this popular craft!  Materials not included.
